I am not 100% sure I care about this new signature flair item.
I am up late blogging cleaning.
I think the problem may be this: When we go to create a post, you have to 'Edit HTML'. When you are there, you will see some HTML blurb :) and you need to click on the very first line of text and hit enter several times. Then go back to your 'compoes' mode and start writing!
